Jordan has never met a kid
she didn't like! And even though she loves
kids, all dogs have their limits, and I closely
monitor all of her interaction with children.
According to the
ASPCA, half
of all children in our country will be bitten by a dog
before their 12th birthday, and the majority of those
bites are from a dog the child knows.
The goal of this workshop
is to teach
children the appropriate way to behave around and
interact with dogs:
-
when it's ok to
approach a dog & when NOT to approach a dog
-
how to recognize
warning signs and understand body language
-
behavior that is
inappropriate or potentially dangerous around
dogs
